These are just a few of the reasons that I called Jumpstart 5 months ago.

With any weight loss program, you have got to have your head in it to be successful.  800 – 1200 calories a day?  A diet pill?  Exercise?  All of the above made me question my ability to be successful on this program.  But I figured–what did I have to lose?  Nothing but lots of weight—right?!!   Actually, I had 60 plus pounds to lose and I knew I had to get help doing it.

I have tried other programs and I have never had the success that I have had with Jumpstart. Every step of the way I questioned my will power—no rice? no pasta?  no bread?…NO WAY!!!!  The diet pill really helps you have a stronger will and once the pounds start to drop off, you have more motivation, more energy and more commitment to the program.   The first benefit I felt from Jumpstart, even before I started to lose the weight was the control.  I was taking steps to improve my problem of being over weight.   I was taking control of my eating habits and making my health a priority and it was very empowering!

With other programs, the results took a lot longer to achieve and I would find myself discouraged and I would slowly slip back into old habits and away from the program.  What is so different about Jumpstart?  For me, the weekly appointments, individual attention and doctor supervision holds me accountable to make my health a priority.  The staff at Jumpstart is great!   Very attentive, flexible, friendly and caring people: always offering helpful tips, new foods to try and encouragement along the way.

Now 60 pounds lighter, lots of people have begun to notice the change in me.  It is nice to hear, however, I am very cautious…A wise friend once told me—“compliments can be fattening” and it is the truth!   Maintaining this weight loss is my next adventure and I know that I will have to work hard at staying disciplined and continue to make good choices.

I am just thrilled with my results and so grateful to have found this program!  I can truly say…I am no longer–the fattest girl in the room!
